The historic vehicle association (hva) is a celebration of the automobile that represents more than 350,000 antique car collectors, classic car owners and car enthusiasts. the hva is the world’s largest vintage car association devoted to the celebration and protection of automotive heritage and the historic vehicle. membership is open to anyone with a passion for historic vehicles—individuals, clubs, businesses, and institutions. established in 2009 as a result of the philanthropic collector car hobby efforts of hagerty insurance, the hva is committed to celebrating and advancing our automotive heritage and protecting and preserving its place within contemporary culture. the hva is the national fiva authority in north america, appointed by the fédération internationale des véhicules anciens (fiva) in 2009. despite the millions of collector car enthusiasts in north america, until now there has never been a single unifying group in north america dedicated to the protection, promotion, and preservation of these vehicles and the interests of their owners. |
